The Anton Valley, a hidden treasure. El Valle de Anton is the only crater in the world where there are people living, its climate is a permanent spring and its population is very close to its culture and its crafts. It is a true garden in Panama, besides that this valley also has enough jets. Located at 1h45 from Panama City, El Valle de Anton has a very pleasant temperature almost all year round. Tinted with a slight mist, it helps the flowers, trees and their hundreds of species of mammals, reptiles and birds of this region to live in a very comfortable way. Very famous for its landscapes, El Valle and the Province of Coclé, are ideal places where you can discover and learn about the fauna and flora, with more than 400 species of birds. To walk or to do exercises, to bathe in the cascades or to only enjoy the tranquility of the place, this region of Panama also has many cultural events for its traditional music, its craftsmanship and its very hot population. Our guide will pick you up early in the morning to cross the Las Americas bridge. Built in 1962, it was for many years the only bridge connecting North America and South America, then they will arrive at the mythical Pan-American route in the direction of Valle de Anton. Visit the town and discover the folklore and crafts of the province of Coclé, known for its traditional hat among others. During the day, you will be taken to the butterfly garden that offers a variety of tropical butterflies; a nice and very nice place where they will learn many of these insects that are very present in Panama. Afterwards, you will go for a walk to the most famous and impressive waterfall of the region “Chorro El Macho” with 35 meters of height.
