Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in San José

    At the time of arrival will be the transfer from the airport to the Hotel in downtown San Jose.

  • Day 2: One Day Tour to Arenal + Baldí with Dinner

    At 7:30 a.m. we will pass by you to your hotel in San Jose. From there we will go to Sarchí, at about 9:15 am we will be visiting the Gigante Carreta in Sarchí for photographs, in addition to this we will go to the Cooperativa de Artesanos, where we can appreciate the talent of this community. At 11:00 a.m. we will have a stop to use the bathrooms, only if necessary. At midday we will be arriving at La Fortuna del Arenal, we will have lunch in a restaurant and from there we will go to the Mirador 1968 which is an optimal point of observation of the great colossal Arenal Volcano. After this, we will go to the relaxation part of our tour, visit the thermal waters of Baldí, here you can enjoy them from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at this time you can enjoy an exquisite Buffet dinner at the thermal waters restaurant. At about 7:00 p.m. we will transfer you to your hotel in Arenal. Accommodation in La Fortuna.

  • Day 3: Rio Celeste

    Breakfast in the morning at your hotel, pick up in the morning to make the transport from La Fortuna to Rio Celeste, the approximate duration is 2 hours of transport to Rio Celeste. The Tenorio Volcano National Park is the protected wild area richest in biodiversity of the Arenal Tempisque Conservation Area. There, socio-environmental, tourist and conservation activities are carried out. It is located between the cantons of Guatuso and Upala, of Alajuela; and Cañas, Bagaces and Tilarán, from Guanacaste. Celeste River, its waterfalls and Los Teñideros are the main attractions of the destination; but, inside the park, there are more treasures: thermal waters, panoramic views, natural trails, wildlife sightings.

    Upon arrival, you will start your tour in the Rio Celeste National Park. This park is close to the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes and is becoming an increasingly popular area to visit in Costa Rica. Upon arrival we will begin a walk through the dense and lush tropical jungle that surrounds it. You and the guide can go at your own pace and learn interesting facts about the rainforest along the way. We will arrive at Los Teñideros, where two rivers come together, you will be surprised by the turquoise color of its waters, in this place you can take photos of this unique experience. Remember that you can not bathe in its waters, as they contain toxic salts for humans. We will finish with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and then transfer to your hotel in La Fortuna.

  • Day 4: Transfer to Monteverde

    Early in the morning after breakfast, we will move from the Arenal area to Monteverde. Accommodation in Monteverde

  • Day 5: Canopy in Monteverde

    Time for breakfast. Then pick them up for the Canopy Tour.

    This tour not only combines the excitement of one of the safest and most valued adventures in Costa Rica, it also offers the amazing perspective of the cloud forest canopy, a perspective that could only be appreciated by some scientists until recently.

    In the training platform our expert guides will instruct and establish the necessary guidelines for our visitors to successfully complete the tour.

    The tour consists of 15 cables with 18 platforms and a Tarzan Swing. There is a total of 3.22 kilometers of cables. It is a tour suitable for people of all ages, although restrictions may apply for people with extreme excess weight. It is recommended that those who wish to do the Canopy Tour wear long pants, walking shoes and depending on weather conditions equipment for rain. This tour lasts approximately two and a half hours. Accommodation in Monteverde.

  • Day 6: Transfer to Manuel Antonio

    In the morning you will have your breakfast at the hotel, and we will pick you up at your hotel in Monteverde to take you to Manuel Antonio, after 4 hours of travel we will arrive at your hotel where you will have the rest of the day free for activities of your choice.

  • Day 7: Kayak Tour in the Ocean

    After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to go to Quepos dock. You will paddle a kayak for about 2 ½ hours (round trip), during your nautical trip you will navigate through islands where you can observe countless seabirds and their nesting areas. Halfway through your trip, you will stop at a beautiful hidden bay, the bay of Biesanz, to rest and enjoy a refreshing snack. During the 30-minute stop, you can dive on this isolated coast or simply rest. The visibility of the water depends on the season. It is very likely that you will see parrotfish, starfish, angelfish and, if you are lucky, a sea turtle or also! This challenging tour of Manuel Antonio allows you to discover amazing examples of nature, above and below the surface of the ocean; from pelicans to flying fishes, you can see everything! Upon returning to the pier, you will return to the base camp to enjoy a conversation about a delicious home-cooked meal. The kayaks are available for 1 or 2 passengers. Children must be at least 8 years old to paddle alone. Sea kayaking is much easier than river kayaking; This tour of Manuel Antonio does not require previous experience.

  • Day 8: Departure transfer

    Breakfast at your hotel, at the appropriate time, we will transfer you to the airport to make the exit of Costa Rica
