Arrival at the International Airport of Mexico City, reception and welcome by our staff.
Breakfast at the hotel. You will be given a bracelet to travel on your own Mexico City on board the Turibus. The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Does not include transfers to the meeting point.
Breakfast at the hotel, at the agreed time we will go to the south of the city, where we will take a ride aboard a traditional and colorful trajinera (approximately one hour). Time for lunch (not included) Later we will go to San Andrés Mixquic, which means “place of who takes care of the water”. It is the place where the Day of the Dead is organized every year in a traditional way and reflects the culture of this small town. On this day, the famous “Alumbrada” takes place in the pantheon, where homage is paid to the dead who left a memory in this world. Starting at seven o’clock in the evening, people come to the tombs decorated with flowers and light candles. The pantheon is filled with light to show the way to the dead. In the middle of the pantheon is the Temple of San Andrés, which has an altarpiece and a roof that is worth knowing. Return to the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, at the agreed time we will go to the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, a place of great importance for commerce in pre-Hispanic times. After we continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, our guide will explain in detail the history of this place. Then they will have time to go around, take pictures and buy their souvenirs. We will continue to Teotihuacán, where we will visit an artisan cooperative and where they will explain the process of obsidian and maguey. Time for lunch (not included). Visit to the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán where we will walk on the Calzada de los Muertos and where we can climb the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Return to your hotel.
