Day 2: CITY TOUR
Breakfast. At the agreed time we will go out to know the main points of the city passing through Reforma Avenue on which are the main monuments of the city such as the Diana Huntress and the Angel of Independence, until arriving at Juarez Avenue where the famous ” Palace of Fine Arts “. We will continue our journey until we reach the plate of the capital’s Zócalo where the National Palace, the Templo Mayor and the Metropolitan Cathedral are located.
Day 3: BASILICA OF GUADALUPE AND PIRAMIDES DE TEOTIHUACÁN
Breakfast. At the agreed time we will go to the Basilica of Guadalupe, we will give an explanation of the apparitions of the Virgin and space to admire the crafts of the place, guided tour in the Basilica and if possible have the opportunity to take the mass of the day. Day 4: CUERNAVACA AND TAXCO
Breakfast. At the agreed time we will go south until we reach Cuernavaca “The City of Eternal Spring”, there we will visit the Borda Garden and visit the Cathedral of Cuernavaca, with its baroque architecture of the sixteenth century is one of the oldest cathedrals in the country. Then we will continue the tour to Taxco, this city still preserves its viceregal style and is the oldest mining center of the continent; Besides having picturesque houses and varied landscapes, it is a city very famous for the extraction of silver for the elaboration of jewelery and other articles. We will have the opportunity to visit a silversmith workshop where they will give us the detailed explanation about the extraction of the silver and its extraction to be able to become a piece of jewelry. Then we will visit the beautiful Church of Santa Prisca, considered the only work that remains intact and that was completed in its time with all its details by the best painter of that time, Miguel Cabrera. Day 5: CHOLULA AND PUEBLA
Breakfast. At the agreed time we will go to the city guarded by the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl Volcanoes; There we will visit the Royal Chapel of Cholula, which is another example of a place of Catholic worship built in a pre-Hispanic sacred site that used to be the temple of Quetzalcoatl. We will continue to the center of Puebla, where we will visit the Cathedral, the Zócalo and the Chapel of the Rosary, considered the eighth wonder of the world; Parian market where you can buy typical sweets, souvenirs and regional items. Also stand out its multiple temples of the colonial era (so many, it is said, there is one for each day of the year), as well as its exquisite cuisine and its fine talavera. Return to your hotel.
Day 6: DEPARTURE OF DEPARTURE
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport in Mexico City.
