Bajos del toro Tours

Bajos del Toro is located in the shadow of the Poás Volcano, next to the Poás Volcano National Park, the Juan Castro Blanco National Park and the Rainforest/Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Outdoor activities abound with steep trail systems to explore the flora and fauna of the forest. The area also has excellent trout fishing. Visitors can go hiking to the back of the Poas Volcano, go horseback riding, rafting, mountain biking or zip-line canopy tour. For the truly adventurous, there is a waterfall next to Catarata del Toro that falls 300 feet into an extinct volcanic crater.
