The tour begins with a trip through the extraordinary rainforest of the Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important reserves in Costa Rica that functions as a natural boundary between the Caribbean and the central valley.
Eventually, when crossing the National Park we will reach the area of ​​Sarapiquí, which is a beautiful region in the northeast of the country, known for its incredible natural wealth. Upon arrival, we will board a boat in which we will take a relaxing walk along the river where we will look for rainforest animals such as monkeys, iguanas, birds and many more.
After the tour by boat, we will continue with a walk through the private trails of Selva Verde Eco Lodge, which are a paradise for nature enthusiasts, hikers and lovers of vegetation where we can appreciate details such as ecosystems, plants, trees, wildlife and much more, at the end of the tour a delicious lunch.
On the way to San Jose, we will visit the famous aerial tram in the rainforest, where aboard a gondola, we can observe the trees and nature in the company of a naturalist guide of the area.
The rainforest has 475 hectares of private reserve and shares 10 km of border with the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which is an intermediate zone between park and farmland.
